WebApr 11, 2024 · When the engine is off and cool, pour green stuff in the radiator until it is full, then as @2mbb says in post 6, fill the overflow bottle to its fill line. It’s kind of hard to see but about 1/2 of the overflow container is where the fill line is. EDIT: responding to @NeverGiveUpYota post # 13, it takes nowhere near 8 gallons. WebJul 27, 2024 · My stock Fj60 runs hot when in low gears/slow speeds with the heaters off. It cools down when I speed up or when I open the heaters up and am driving. I wanted to simply redo the coolant system with a new thermostat, water pump and cleaned-radiator. Before I dive into it, I of course have some questions.
